A Guide To Dashboard Warning Lights
Modern vehicles now have a series of onboard computer systems along with various warning lights, which sometimes can be confusing if you don't know what they mean.
What do the different colours of warning lights mean?
Generally, if the warning light is red it means urgent attention is required immediately and you should stop driving as soon as it is safe to do so, whilst if the warning light is amber it means something is not quite right but you can continue driving with care but the vehicle should be looked at by a qualified workshop as soon as possible.

Most common warning lights:
The most common warning light to cause people concern is theĀ TPMS warning symbol (tyre pressure monitoring), when this light comes on it doesn't necessarily mean something has gone wrong or you have a flat tyre. It could simply be a slight reduction in tyre pressure due to weather/temperature change, Browning Suzuki offer a free tyre pressure check service to put your mind at rest.
The second most common symbol is (OIL) displaying a spanner symbol directly below (Suzuki vehicles), there is no need for concern this is just a gentle reminder to get your vehicle booked in for a service as soon as possible. This system then gets reset every time your vehicle has a service to ensure it comes on again at the correct time just in case you forget your service is due.
